Ready to play mahjong… but still have a few “Wait—what do I do here?” moments? This Mahjong Guided Play, 2 Day Workshop is designed for players who have already taken our Beginner Mahjong Class and want extra practice with a teacher by their side.
During the two sessions, you’ll play full games in a supportive, low-pressure setting while an instructor circulates to answer questions in real time—clarifying Charleston strategy, reading your hand, calling tiles, handling exposures, and navigating the flow of play. We’ll focus on building comfort, confidence, and consistency so you can stop second-guessing and start enjoying the game.
Perfect for anyone who’s learned the basics but wants one more step before jumping into our Mahjong Social League—or hosting a game night with friends.
Prerequisite: Must have attended at least one Beginner Mahjong Class at Bub + Beck.
What to bring: Your NMJL card (if you have it) and a willingness to play, learn, and ask questions!
